Craft Area Draft

A friend of mine turns out to be an architect.

Who knew!

Earlier this week I posted the dimensions of where my craft bench was going to be once Tim and I started redoing the office. Within a few hours, I received a message from my friend over at Matthew Ellish Designs.

Turns out, Matt felt like having some fun with my craft area idea and sketched up a quick drawing of what he thought would make good use of the space. It's pretty neat!

He says there's a better sketch on the way (since giving him more dimensions), but I think this one's really cool, regardless! Go check out his site!

  1. that work area looks cool, but here in england most flats don't have room to swing a cat let alone have a work area ;) i came by via the blog hop and now follow on GFC. Hope you can visit back and maybe follow if you like what you see.

  4. You made me giggle. How sweet of your friend to send you a mock up of how to utilize your space. I think you are going to have a craft area that makes me green with envy :)

    1. IF all goes according to plan, this will be an epic craft space. Dedicated mostly to crochet, sewing, and a tiny bit of jewelry making and cross stitch. Luckily I have access to closet space too! I can't wait to get started and post pictures!!!

  6. That looks really nice! I wish I had a craft area, that would be amazing! I guess for now I'll have to keep using the kitchen table or computer desk. Maybe one day. =) ~Ashley @Make it Create {www.thelatestfind.com}
